Promptica ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Promptica mobile application and website (getpromptica.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

When you create or use a Promptica account, we may collect information you provide directly, including your email address, username, profile information, saved prompts, favorites, community content, and support messages. We may also process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and maintain accounts, synchronize saved content across devices, provide community features, respond to support requests, protect the service from misuse, and improve Promptica. We do not sell personal information.

3. Service Providers

Promptica uses trusted service providers to operate its services, including Firebase for authentication, database, and storage services, and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

4. Data Retention

We retain account-related information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide Promptica. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize associated personal information within a reasonable period, unless we must retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

5. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your Promptica account and associated personal data directly in the Promptica mobile application: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

You may also request account and data deletion by contacting contact@getpromptica.com from the email address associated with your account. We may request limited information to verify the request.

6. Children’s Privacy

Promptica is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no online service or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal obligations change. Any update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
